Lisboa, Portugal

Born in Lisbon in 1987, Bordalo II "belongs to a consumerist and materialistic generation". With the production of things at its highest, the production of waste is also at its highest. He creates and develops ideas with end-of-life material and relate it to sustainability and ecological awareness.

"Someone' trash is another man's treasure". Bordalo II creates, recreates, transforms and develops ideas with "almost dead" materials to give life to giant murals that he likes to call "Big Trash Animals". Through his art, Bordalo II creates a relationship with social and environmental conscience.
