Internship Artist Relationship Management

3-6 months | Internship | Berlin
Book a Street Artist is looking for a motivated and reliable team player with attention to details and a patient & solution-oriented attitude to join the Artist Relationship Management crew.

At Book a Street Artist we have a clear vision: empowering artistic talent and making it universally accessible. We believe that talent should be valued independently from the context it is presented in. Therefore, we build tech products and tools to enable artists to manage and promote themselves in a more efficient way, and to match clients and artists with each other perfectly. Our artists are from the fields of music, performance and visual art. Our clients range from private individuals celebrating birthdays or weddings to company parties and conferences to major brands implementing their marketing campaigns.

  • Reviewing incoming artist applications on a daily/weekly basis, helping to evaluate their fit & preparing weekly artist review meetings with the crew.
  • Inviting & onboarding of new artist.
  • Following up on invited artists and guiding them through the registration process and their profile creation.
  • Artist supply: active scouting of talents from specific art fields in target cities.
  • Improve the artist satisfaction by implementing various projects - depending on your internship duration.
  • Occasionally translations & research.

  • Deep insights into the operational processes of a platform and into the processes from the perspective of the artist.
  • An inspiring start-up environment in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg with flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, and a great company culture.
  • A highly passionate and dedicated team of young entrepreneurs, designers and many many artists, i.e. people who love what they do on a daily basis. We are an international mix from countries like Colombia, Germany, Uruguay, Portugal, France, Lithuania...
  • High learning effect, bringing in own ideas and the potential to have a big impact for our clients and artists.
  • Access to our artists' and clients' events. Get to know the urban art scene and inspiring artists from Berlin and around the world.
  • Work in a startup that grows organically and acts ethically: We are a purpose-driven for-profit startup with social mindset. We put people before money, and we have strong ethical values. If you are aligned with these ideas, this is your place to be!

  • Yes, we work in the creative industry. However, much of our work is 'behind-the-scenes' which means office work is a big part of our daily business.
  • Working in a startup sounds cool & inspiring. It is also quite chaotic and there is much potential for frustration and disillusion if you are not hands-on, resourceful and a great self-manager.
  • Sometimes, tasks need to change massively and from one day to the other you find yourself doing something that was not part of this description. That's part of the game & you need to be at ease with it.

  • Must-have languages: fluent English skills plus German or Portuguese.
  • Student status during the internship duration.
  • At least 3 months time (mandatory internships ideally 6 months).
  • You can apply for an Erasmus scholarship
  • Ideally first experience with managing communities or customer support, and a strong interest in the art world.
  • Great communication skills, outgoing character, solution-oriented attitude & good vibes!

Sounds good? Please apply here. #OneLove
